The Pre-Visit
At Amee Lind Studio, your experience begins long before you arrive. Once your appointment is booked, you'll receive a confirmation with all the key details, including the date, time, location, and your stylist's name.
Next you will receive a Welcome E-mail with helpful information like parking tips, how to find the salon, and what to bring. We want you to feel confident, comfortable, and cared for from the very start, which is why we also share what amenities are available—like complimentary beverages, snacks, and Wi-Fi, —so you can settle in and enjoy every moment.
New clients may be invited to complete a quick form to help us understand your hair goals, preferences, and any past experiences—so we can tailor your service just for you. You’ll also receive reminder messages leading up to your visit.
The Consultation
Before your hair appointment, we will start with a thorough consultation to ensure you feel confident and excited about your service.
During this time, we will ask about your hair goals, daily routine, and any concerns you may have—like dryness, damage, or styling challenges. We will also talk about your hair history (including color or chemical treatments), your preferred maintenance level, and how much time you like to spend styling your hair at home.
If you're interested in color or a major change, we may ask for inspiration photos to better understand your vision. We will also assess your hair’s current condition, texture, and face shape to recommend the best approach for your desired outcome. This conversation helps us create a personalized plan that suits your lifestyle, enhances your natural features, and keeps your hair healthy.
Before Goodbye
Once your session is complete, and we finish admiring your gorgeous new hair, we will walk you through everything you need to know to maintain your look at home.
We will recommend professional products tailored to your hair type and goals, along with styling tips to help you recreate your new look with ease. If you received color or a treatment, we will explain how to care for it properly to extend its longevity and keep your hair healthy between visits.
Before you leave, we can discuss a timeframe for your next appointment based on your maintenance needs—whether that’s a trim in six weeks or a color refresh in eight. You’ll have the option to pre-book your next visit so it’s one less thing to worry about later. And if you have any questions after your appointment, We are always here to support you until we see you again!
